These Baked Parmesan Cod Sliders are delicious and will have your family asking for more. Crusted in Parmesan and panko, these cod filets crisp up nicely in the oven and taste amazing when paired with tartar sauce and sweet rolls.
I did it!
I made a very successful fish dish that my kids loved and my husband went back for seconds. Having a house full of picky eaters isn’t easy at times. I get tired of fixing the same boring fish dish every few weeks that the kids tolerate but that they don’t love. I have been trying for years to find a recipe that they will love.
I finally did it!
These Alaska Baked Parmesan Cod Sliders are perfect for a healthy dinner for your family. My family loves panko crusted chicken, so I got to thinking that maybe I could do something similar with fish. On my last grocery run to Kroger, I stumbled upon some Alaska cod and thought that it would work.
It did.
I find that whitefish is a good place to start when it comes to introducing more seafood into your family’s meals. Whitefish is flakey and easy to pair with other flavors, allowing your kids to be more adventurous when it comes to eating fish.
The best whitefish comes from right here in the states. Wild-caught Alaska whitefish varieties, such as halibut, sablefish (black cod), sole, Alaska pollock and cod, provide many different delicious and easy ways for parents to cook for their family and to get them to eat more seafood.
Alaska is the perfect place to raise high-quality seafood because of its cold pristine waters. Did you know that Alaska’s wild fisheries contribute nearly 60% of all seafood harvested in the country?
