INSTANT POT CREAMY CHICKEN

– 2 chicken breasts – 1 cup chicken broth – 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper – 1/3 cup half and half – 1 small tomato, chopped – 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil – 2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water
EASY PRESSURE COOKER RECIPE!
1. Add chicken breast and broth to the instant pot. Sprinkle with spices. Place the lid on the instant pot and seal shut. Close the pressure release valve. Set to manual, high pressure for 8 minutes. When cooking cycle is complete, let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes. Carefully open pot. Remove chicken and set aside (keep warm). 2. Add half and half, tomatoes, basil and cornstarch slurry to pot and set to saute. Mix continuously until mixture begins to bubble and thicken. Remove from heat. 3. Slice chicken and pour sauce on top before serving.
