Wet-Nap

The days are getting longer and we are spending a lot of time outdoors.  Last weekend we had my son’s 5th birthday party in our backyard so we have been working overtime to make sure that the backyard is ready for outdoor fun.  Our backyard is what sold me on this house when we purchased it last year, the park-like setting had me at hello!  I literally have to pinch myself when I take the kids outside to this beautiful yard, it is perfect for our family!

I got it

My kids love to play tag with the ball. My daughter was so excited that she got the ball away from her big brother! Jonah was not as excited, but he did get up and chase her around the yard.

We have two great outdoor spaces for family dinners, but it is always a good time to pack up a picnic lunch and spread out on the lawn to enjoy the sun!  The kids enjoy eating and playing in the yard, chasing each other around.  The dog loves drooling over the picnic lunch, and I love all of it!  Being with my family is my favorite way to spend the day, soaking up the rays is icing on the cake!

Picnic lunch

This time my picnic basket includes some food pouches, the kids’ bento boxes full of lunch, and Wet-Nap moist wipes.  I found a great coupon for fifty five cents ($.55) off of any Wet-Nap product that you can download here (http://wetnap.com/coupons/) while supplies last.  Combine that with Walmart’s low prices and I got an amazing deal.  I throw a package in my diaper bag, in my car as well as in the pantry at home to ensure that I have one available whenever the kids need it (which we all know they make a lot of messes).

Picnic time with the kids

Speaking of messes, Wet-Nap is hosting a photo contest where you can submit a photo entry of your messy kids and have the chance to win big! The photo with the most votes wins a $1,000 giftcard to Walmart and a year’s supply of product. Voting will close on June 16.  You can see more at: http://contest.wetnap.com/

Picnic

I am hoping that the weather keeps smiling down on us this month so we can enjoy more moments together in our yard.  I think that there will be a few more picnics in our future.

How do you enjoy spending the warm days as a family?

Red hates messes so much that he asks for “a wipe” all the time! I love the portability of these.

I keep wet wipes in my bag(s) at all times. You just never know when you’ll need them. Summer seems worse, cause we’re gone more. Sticky ice cream messes, car spills, Dorita faces…you name it. They’re a lifesaver!

I don’t think I’ve seen this brand sold by me, but I always carry either wipes or hand sanitizer in my bag. I get freaked out by germs.

Wet naps are a MUST with little ones around. I don’t think I go anywhere without them. They really are the easiest way to clean up messes on the go and at home.

I have said a hundred times that I should have bought stock in wipes when my first child was born. I use them for everything! This brand looks especially good. Sometimes it’s hard to find a good wipe.

I love to spend nice days outdoors. We don’t get many “perfect” days around here because it is either too hot, too cold, or too humid. (And btw – good luck in the contest!)

Having wipes on hand at all times is a must! Even as my kids get older, I find they still can make yucky messes no matter what! We keep some in my purse and in the car.
