This year has been the worst in recent memory when it comes to keeping healthy in my classroom as well as at home. My family and I had the flu not once, but twice so far this winter. At school, I can’t remember the last day I had everyone present. I have been sending kids to the nurse at least once day with flu like symptoms. I encourage the sharing of classroom supplies and we do lots of hands on activities. The spreading of germs is just one of the things that classrooms and parents everywhere have to deal with on a daily basis. That’s why LYSOL® created the No-Touch Hand Soap System, which has 10 times more germ protection than the leading antibacterial hand soap. Kids love the automatic dispenser and loving washing their hands. Kids no longer have to pass their germs along by pushing down on a dispenser with their unclean hands. This dispenser is a win, win for parents everywhere.
We were recently sent a dispenser to try out and my son LOVES it. He has washed his hands more times than I can count. Thank goodness there is an on and off switch, because he would have used up the entire bottle of soap by now If I hadn’t turned it off. The system runs on batteries and uses special containers of soap to fit inside the dispenser. I have the cucumber melon scent and I absolutely love it. It isn’t too floral for the kids, and it isn’t too fruity for me!
To celebrate kids and the messes they make, LYSOL® has launched the Kid Who Touches EverythingContest, which invites moms nationwide to submit photos of their child’s messiest moments. One grand-prize winner will be selected to receive a family vacation to Disney World and have his or her photo featured on Lysol.com.
Did you hear that moms? For taking a picture of your child in their messiest state, you can win a family vacation to Disney World! Now instead of running for the paper towels, run for your camera and capture your child’s messiest moments. For a lot of us, this won’t be too difficult.
Well… I shouldn’t speak too soon as now this is what I see my child doing more than ever now that we have the “cool, magic soap machine!”

I saw this the other day and thought it would be perfect for my little guy. He gets into everything and is usually covered in dirt and God knows what.
