Johnson & Johnson Healthy Essentials Donate a Photo

By Mom 71 Comments Note: This Post May Contain Affiliate Links Which Means We Earn a Small Commision.

This post on making a difference in the world through your own photography is brought to you by Johnson &Johnson and The Motherhood, who sent me a box of products and compensated me for my time. Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are all my own, and I hope you enjoy them.
We just put our house up on the market and we are crossing our fingers that it sells quickly.  Trying to keep a house in show condition with two young children is a near impossible task.  To get ready we did a very thorough Spring Clean.  When I got to the medicine cabinet, I realized that we were missing a few essentials that we need for those minor scrapes and bruises.  After cleaning out all expired ointments and medicine, I went and replenished our medicine cabinet with products from Johnson & Johnson including NEUTROGENA®, BAND-AID® Brand, LISTERINE®, AVEENO®, NEOSPORIN®, and VISINE®.
To save on these spring time essentials, The Healthy Essentials™ coupon book appeared in local newspapers across the country on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Don’t worry if you missed it though because the coupons are also available online at www.healthyessentials.com.  These coupons will help you save over $50 on products that you trust for your everyday needs.
To encourage consumers to live well while doing good, Johnson & Johnson just introduced  the Donate a Photo app. The Donate a Photo app is a brand-new free app that allows consumers to give back to causes they care about and make a difference through one simple act – taking a photo!*  That’s right, if you are anything like me I love taking photos with my phone.  I snap quite a few pictures of my family daily.  Now I can donate to a very special cause by sharing those photos through the Donate a Photo app.

Donate a Photo App IMG_0949

For every photo shared through the app, J&J will donate $1 to a cause that people care about. All donations are measured in actions, from planting trees to feeding families to providing medicine for children in need. Donating is simple: Just download the free Donate a Photo app and register to get started, then choose a cause, upload a photo and share it on Facebook and Twitter to let friends and followers know how they can help, too. You can share one photo a day, every day, to contribute to the causes that matter most to you. When a cause reaches its goal, another takes its place; the causes that have reached their goal stay in the app, so users can continue to learn more about the organizations and see the photos that helped support them.

Win It

To celebrate and encourage others to live a healthy life, Johnson & Johnson is sponsoring a Healthy Essentials prize package giveaway that includes about $100 of their popular products.  Your prize package will include these products or something similar:
