I love this time in my daughter’s life. She is at the age where she loves to experiment and show off her personality with her clothing and her hair. She loves to try new things and experiments with fashion like I never did. Lately she has been wanting to dye streaks in her hair but I have been a little hesitant about letting her.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when BabbleBoxx asked if we wanted to try out Cool Maker’s NEW Hollywood Hair Extension Maker. Of course my daughter was really excited. It is a great way to put some color into her hair without the commitment of bleach and hair color!
Hollywood Hair Extension Maker
The Hollywood Hair Extension Maker is now available at Target, Walmart and Amazon.com and is perfect for young kids ages 8 and up. This extension maker is the only DIY kit where kids can create and design their own hair extensions. Inside the kit you will find printed designs or blank extensions that you can decorate with the included markers.
To create your custom extension, choose a color and decorate it with your markers. Next, load your extension into the Hollywood Hair Studio and press the button to watch it turn into a custom hair extension.
My daughter has wavy hair so the normal sleek straight hair extensions don’t match her hair type. With the Hollywood Hair Extension Maker you can use the included curler and spray bottle to create tight curls, beach waves, or Hollywood curls. My daughter wrapped hers around the curler for about two hours for a wave that complemented her hair texture. She also made some sleek straight extensions for her bestie.
The Hollywood Hair Extension Maker comes with everything you need to make 12 custom hair extensions. You will need two AA batteries for the Maker. I would also recommend putting something underneath your extensions while you are coloring with the markers, they do bleed through a little bit.
Overall, my daughter really enjoyed making her own hair extensions and wearing them to express herself. We had a fun time making them together and found it enjoyable. We are excited to make more and show them off during our Fall Break this week.
