I finished the first week of my new exercise program. I figured out who was in the worse shape… my dog! I didn’t realize how out of shape we both were until the end of last week. Today we started with the second week of the Couch-to-5K program. I got up and ran at about 6 A.M. in order to get back in time for my husband to go to work.
Getting up in the morning is hard, but if I stay up after Caroline’s last feeding it really isn’t that bad. Besides, with the weather reaching over 100 degrees, it really is the only time I can run.

I’m so excited that you’re running! I love running so much!! Good luck with the plan! I have a couple of friends that have used the Couch to 5K program and enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a fun 5K to run at the end of your plan, try the Indy Women’s Half 5K over Labor Day. It’s for women with cute running shirts and sparkly medals after you finish!! 🙂

Can’t wait to run together in the mountains while you are here! We’ll have to get up early and go for a swim afterwards – the heat wave has hit Idaho, too!

Good for you! I began running back in January but somewhere around May all of my running buddies fizzled out -and it’s been so hard to keep on track! I’m going to check this out!
