I have had the privilege to attend a few red carpet premiers like Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Frozen, and Gnomeo and Juliet to name a few, but none of them compare to the size and vastness of the Avengers: Infinity War World Premiere.
A huge thank you to Marvel for flying me out to LA to attend the premiere.
Last Monday I was one of the first people to see Avengers: Infinity War while attending the World Premiere. Every time I am able to attend a red carpet premiere, I am humbled and grateful for the experience. This event was one of the most anticipated movies of the past few years, and I can tell you that the movie doesn’t disappoint.
Avengers: Infinity War World Red Carpet
Walking a “red” carpet event is always a thrilling experience. For the Avengers: Infinity War World Premiere the carpet was actually purple, and it was LONG! Marvel is celebrating a decade of movies this year so they went all out for this premiere.
Inside the tents, there was a collection of memorabilia from the last ten years of Marvel movies including costumes, relics, and even a few of the famous vehicles from our favorite movies.
There were rows and rows of costumes from the first Iron Man movie to Black Panther and even a few from the new Avengers: Infinity War movie as well.
The purple carpet took up most of Hollywood Blvd and it was pretty wide, but I was still surprised when I saw some of the bigger items in the collection. Do you remember this?
This is the prisoner chair and containment cell that Bucky/Winter Soldier was kept in during the Captain America Civil War movie.
They also had one of the Guardian’s of the Galaxy space pods.
The Book of Cagliostro from Doctor Strange was on display. As was Red Skull’s V16 Hydra Schmidt Roadster from the first Captain America film.
One of the relics that I was most excited about was seeing the Infinity Gauntlet. Infinity War is all about Thanos and his quest to obtain all the infinity stones to complete his gauntlet. (Read more about this in my spoiler-free review of Infinity War.)
A trip down the red carpet wouldn’t be complete without a few celebrity sitings. As you may imagine, the MCU includes many celebrities and almost all of them were there at the premiere.

After the memorable walk down the carpet, I was seated inside the Dolby Theatre for the screening of Avengers: Infinity War. We weren’t allowed access to our cameras, and I was pretty sad about that since I was seated in the center of the very first row of the theatre. I was front and center as the cast was introduced.
We were able to have our phones back before we headed to the after party!
Avengers: Infinity War After Party
Traditionally press is not invited to Marvel After Parties, but because this movie was so important, they made an exception and we were able to attend. The after party is a place where the cast and crew can celebrate their accomplishments with their family and friends. It is a very large room filled with food and drinks and some fun interactive experiences.
They had tables spread out throughout the venue and many were reserved for members of the cast of Infinity War.
Funko Pop! had a fun display of all the main characters in the movie in giant size… I think War Machine was a little tired by the end of the night!
Remember I said they had some fun interactive experiences? Check out my friend Louise and I dancing it up!
Attending a movie premiere is always special, but I think this one is going straight to the top of experiences that I have had. The extra special display in the red carpet, sitting so close to the talent of the film, being one of the first people to screen the movie, attending the after party, these all are things that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am grateful for Marvel studios seeing the value of everyday moms and their blogs so that I can share this experience with you.
