Being a mom is hard work. A great deal of the time I worry that I am messing my kids up. I can be a little neurotic, anxious, and I tend to overreact, I hope those traits aren’t getting past down to my kiddos. My husband says I’m crazy (I hope he doesn’t actually mean it) and that I am a terrific mom. I am my biggest critic, so sometimes I have to stop and realize that my kids are fantastic in spite of me, and you know what? I can’t be messing them up if they are this wonderful!
Mother’s Day is a time to sit back and pat yourself on the back and tell yourself that you are doing a great job. My kids are too young to say it to me, my husband tries, but it really doesn’t sink in until I take the time to relax and look at everything that I have accomplished. This video from JOHNSON’S® Baby sums it all up, “You’re Doing OK, Mom! ”
I absolutely love this video. Guess what? For every view of the “You’re Doing OK, Mom” video between now and Mother’s Day, JOHNSON’S® Baby will donate $1 to Save the Children® up to $50,000. What an awesome way to honor moms everywhere this Mother’s Day.
Moms, take a little time to yourself tomorrow and be assured that “Your’re Doing OK!”
