Playskool Celebrates Halloween!

Halloween Play-Doh

I am not a huge fan of the idea of Halloween.  I know, bad mommy.  Don't get me wrong, I love the dress up aspect of Halloween, and the pumpkins.  What I don't like is the idea of TJ going door to door getting candy.  First of all, he doesn't need all that candy.  Secondly, I am not a fan of strangers (I live in a very populated city along with a decent sized crime rate).  I am an … [Read more...]

Little Tikes Market

Finding toys these days for TJ is becoming more difficult.  I can always get him a car or a ball and he will be happy but I want him to engage his imagination and pretend play. We were recently asked to review the Little Tikes Neighborhood Market, and I was really excited because it looked like the perfect toy to inspire imaginative play. This is my third review with Little Tikes so I am now a … [Read more...]

Playskool- Wheel Pals Rolling Acres Farm

playskool

My son is all boy.  He loves balls, blocks and anything with wheels.  He is perfectly happy with his ball and a glass of milk for about 10 minutes while mommy gets some work done around the house. I am constantly looking for toys that have age approriate cars incorporated in the toy. TJ does get a little frustrated when he wants to play with things that are a little too advanced for him. … [Read more...]

Moon Dough is an out-of-this-world new molding dough that never dries … [Read more...]

Mr. Potato Head -Toy Story 3 Edition

playskool-logo

One of my favorite characters in the Toy Story movies has to be Mr. Potato Head.  I remember playing with my own Mr. Potato Head when I was a kid.  In my kindergarten class we have a Mrs. Potato Head in our free choice center and the kids love to play with her and give her silly expressions.  I love watching them be creative and laugh when they are playing with her. Playskool has introduced a … [Read more...]

Pop On Pals Review

Pop On Pals Logo

Finding toys that keep TJ's interest for more than a few minutes are vary rare to find these days.  When we received our Pop On Pals Amusement Park I thought it was going to be one more toy that TJ enjoyed for 5 minutes and then on to the next, but I was wrong.  Tj is still enjoying playing with his amusement park. Pop On Pals, by Spin Master, are little people who can pop in and out of … [Read more...]

Step2 Play Up Toddler Swing and Slide Review

Picture 2

I have been looking for a while for a swing-set appropriate for TJ. The closest park is a little far for all of us to walk to and then have enough energy to swing and slide.  I visited Step2 to look at all the wonderful new products for the summer and found the Play Up Toddler Swing and Slide. I contacted Step2 and was extremely excited when they said that they would send us one to review. … [Read more...]
