Ham and Peas Au Gratin & $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

I love an easy recipe.  Being a busy mom, wife, and teacher can take its toll on dinner.  I love to cook, but sometimes after a long day at work I can use a little help.  Betty Crocker makes creating a delicious meal fast and easy.  With all the different options that Betty Crocker offers, there is a potato pouch perfect for most any meal.  This time I took a box of Potatoes Au Gratin and made a yummy ham and peas dish out of it.  I took a lot of help from the store and used frozen peas (that I thawed) and diced ham.  It turned out to be a very yummy dish.  This is perfect as a side or for a meal.

1 bunch green onions (6 to 8), chopped

All time favorite potato dish is loaded baked potatoes. Lately, I’ve been making a Shepard’s Pie with potatoes that is really good. This week it will be candied yams.

My favorite potato recipe is the Indian dish aloo mutter, although the recipe for Chicken-Parmesan Potatoes at the Stud Hub looks pretty fantastic too. Thanks!

My favorite potato recipe is pretty simple. Potatoes & onions smothered in butter, seasoned with salt and pepper (sometimes paprika instead). Grilled in foil or baked in the oven for 60 minutes. Delicious!

1 8 oz bag shredded cheddar cheese
    16 oz sour cream
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 cup corn flakes

We love Mashed Potato Pancakes. I generally make them after big holiday meals when we have a ton of mashed potatoes left over. I scramble up about 2-4 eggs, add some salt, pepper, shredded cheeses and mix it all up with some mashed potatoes and fry them up like pancakes and serve with a little ketchup and some toast for a really nice and quick breakfast.
