Finding natural and organic products for my family has been a priority for me.  After dealing with all of my son’s skin issues, I found that there is no substitution for a quality organic product.  Organic skincare became one of my missions to find that would work with my son’s sensitive skin. One of the companies that I found while on my search is Melvita.

In 1977, Bernard Chevilliat, Biologist and lover of the open countryside, moved to the Ardèche. Located in South-central France, it is named after the Ardèche river, and is known for its wide-open spaces, limestone cliffs, and stone arches. Soon after arriving, beekeeping became his main passion. With help from his Wife and Brother, they grew this hobby to over five hundred hives, on an isolated farm in the middle of the countryside.

In 1983, they founded MELVITA and developed their first natural organic beauty product based on ingredients from the hive. Starting with Melvita’s famous hexagonal soap, they moved on to shampoo, milks and creams, floral waters, plant oils, etc.

Melvita carries many different product for the entire family. From their Organic Argan Oil to their Nappy Change Milk for the littlest member of your family, there are a lot of products that I would love to try.  I am particualarly interested in the Extaordinary Fluid wich is a daily moisturizer for normal to combination skin.  I know I can trust this because, like my son, I have very sensitive skin and the only thing that can touch my face has to be hypoallergenic and conatin only natural ingredients.
