Welcome to the 2010 Holiday Guide here on A Mom’s Impression. From now until December 15, I will feature products perfect for giving and receiving this holiday season. Be sure to visit often and enter the many giveaways that will be featured. Happy Holidays!
I have found the perfect stocking stuffer for shutterbugs! I fell in love with taking pictures about 12 years ago. Since then, I have toyed with SLRs including a Pentax, a Minolta and my current camera from Nixon. I love being able to control the settings of my cameras but I really dislike the pop up flash that comes with most SLRs. Professor Kobre has found a solution without having to purchase a heavy external flash, the Lightscoop.
The Lightscoop is a devise that fits on your camera’s hot shoe where you would normally attach an external speed-light. The Lightscoop takes your existing pop up flash and bounces the light off the wall. The result is a natural, softer looking photograph. What a simple design that has completely changed my photographic life. The Lightscoop works with the following makes and models:
Canon 7D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, Rebel XTi, XSi, 400, 450, XT, XTi, T1i, XS, 350, 500/550D, 1000D
Fuji FinePix Pro series
Nikon D40, D40x, D50, D60, D70, D70s, D80, D90, D100, D200, D300, D700, D3000, D5000
Olympus E420, E520, E3, E620
Pentax K-7, K10D, K100D, K20D, K200D
Sigma SD14
SONY MODEL
Sony a200, a250, a300, a330, a380, a500, a550, a700
The Sony hot shoe has a different design than all other camera makers’. For this reasond do NOT order a Universal model if you have a Sony camera. Select Sony Only and do remember that the Sony model will never work with other cameras.
I love SLRs. When they came out with digital SLRs, I immediately wanted one. It took several years but a few years ago I was finally able to purchase a digital SLR. I haven’t been able to buy a lot of accessories for my camera, but I really hated the pop up flash. It was on my Christmas list this year to ask for one. I hear about Lightscoop and immediately wanted one. When I found out that Lightscoop wanted to be apart of my 2010 Holiday Gift Guide I was really excited to try it out. I immediately took it out, slid it into my hot shoe and was off taking pictures. I am very impressed on how much better my photos are looking. Here are some examples:
With Lightscoop (Notice there is not a glare on the pumpkin)
As you can see, the pictures taken with my Lightscoop are more natural and do not have a harsh light. If you have a loved one who is a shutterbug like I am you must get them this for a gift. I guarantee that they will love it.
