TJ loves Elmo! The new DVD is our lifesaver for allowing daddy and I in the mornings. He is content to watch Elmo and drink his bottle while we get ready for work. While I am loving his new found friend, I hope that this isn’t the beginning of TV addiction. Am I worrying too much?
I would love to visit your Wordless Wednesday…. link up!

too cute. my daughter loves elmo also
It can’t hurt for a little time while you are getting ready in the mornings. Elmo is engaging to most little tikes and I wouldn’t worry about him getting addicted in that short amount of time. I know my kids think Elmo is pretty cool too!
This looks alot like what goes on at our house when Elmo appears!
I wouldn’t worry at all. I think every kid is mesmerized by Elmo at some point!
Such a cute pic!
We love Elmo. This is not a bad addiction.
We are right there with ya! I have the dvd in the van memorized!
We are in love with Disney Princess movies – Cinderella, Snow White, Belle LOL David is not so into TV yet……but he will start out interested and then move on LOL
Maybe I should try Elmo
my daughter has yet to be enthralled with Elmo. Diego, on the other hand…
We are a “Pooh” family and I was worried about my daughter’s addiction but since it has gotten warmer – we never turn on the TV. I think he’ll be okay. And you have a few minutes to get ready
My son used to spend hours watching Elmo!
I think the general rule of thumb is 2 hours or less (preferably less). Lol — I think you’re safe!
I think it is now instinctive to get hypnotized by the box! But it sure can give a mom a few moments of sanity! My guys loved the Cookie Monster & Animal.
I’m sure it will be fine, and I believe that whatever helps in the morning is A-OK!
I worry about this, too. The first thing my daughter does when she wakes up is grab the remote and ask me to put the TV on. Proooobably not healthy. lol I should take her outside a lot more. She loves it outside even more, thankfully.
Elmo is a pretty powerful image. Last Halloween my son followed a poor kid all around because he was dressed up as Elmo. He was adamant it was “La la” (elmo)
A little Elmo never hurt anyone, at least I don’t think so! Looks like he is content!
He’s happy
I wouldn’t worry about it until it starts turning into “again, again!”
I see your son feels about Elmo how my two youngest sons feel about Yo Gabba Gabba and Umizoomi. Cheers to a little peace! *smiles*
Take care,
Shynea
Elmo has always been a hit at our house too!
I think all things Sesame Street should be required TV watching for every single child. And who in their right mind could NOT love Elmo?
We had to do a TV detox with my oldest when she was about 2. She wanted to watch a show whenever she was mad, bored, tired, etc… We went cold turkey – no tv for a week, then one show per day after that. I had to work pretty hard to keep her busy at first!
so cute!!! my youngest loves elmo
we watched Elmo’s Christmas from Nov to July. Not kidding you. Cute pic!
My kids obsession is Caillou…she is a junkie for him.
Front row seats! How did you score those!?
Too cute!
