Seventh Generation Review and Giveaway CLOSED

Being Eco-friendly is becoming more and more important to my family.  I want to leave this earth healthy for my son and his children.  Since beginning this blog I have been fortunate to learn and review some amazing “green” products that will help reduce my energy footprint on the earth.  An amazing company that I just worked with is Seventh Generation.

Seventh Generation provides cleaning products and personal hygiene products that are green but also are effective.  We were able to try out Seventh Generation’s Natural Baby Starter Kit that includes:

  • Diapers
  • Disinfecting Multi Purpose Cleaner
  • Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner
  • Disinfecting Wipes
  • Baby Wipes Tub
  • Baby Laundry Detergent
  • All Purpose Natural Paper Towels
  • Seventh Generation Recycled Bag

While I have been happy with all of the products in the kit, I have been very impressed with the diapers and the laundry detergent.  As most of you know we have a lot of problems with BJ’s skin.  He is extremely sensitive and requires sensitive laundry detergents.  His skin hasn’t broken out on his body once since we started using the Baby Laundry Liquid Detergent! This is a product that we will continue to purchase in the future when needed.

I was a little skeptical of the Chlorine Free Diapers but I was pleasantly surprised.  I have known for a long time how horrible normal disposable diapers are to throw away in the landfill.  I have been to scared to cloth diaper, so these greener diapers seemed like a good fit.  While these diapers will still go to the landfill, they are not made with chemicals that harm the earth and provide a super absorbent, hypoallergenic diaper for your child.  I was afraid that these diapers would leak and wouldn’t be as reliable as the name brand ones we currently use but they didn’t leak.  They worked just as well as the nationally popular brands.  BJ has had a lot of diaper rashes and the hypoallergenic diapers have helped get rid of his rash.

I have enjoyed all of my Seventh Generation products and so can you!

I’m not sure we need a starter kit, but we could certainly use a continuing kit :) I most want to try out the chlorine free diapers. I didn’t realize it until we had our son about 5 months ago, but modern diapers smell horrible! I don’t know if its the chlorine or what, but they stiiiiiiiiink!

I’d love to try the Carpet Spot & Stain Remover. I would love to have hardwood floors but we are still saving for that; however, we inherited ivory carpet when we moved into our house. My husband doesn’t get the point that when you put on your work shoes in the morning, you should go walking on the ivory carpet. :)
