I wish BJ would have at least tried the cake, but he doesn’t like to be dirty and after sticking his hand in the frosting it was all over. He didn’t even try it! He had fun though and that is all that matters!

So cute! My son wouldn’t touch his cake either on his first birthday…he was too afraid of getting his hands dirty!
He does look a little unimpressed with the cake. My son refused to eat his first AND his second birthday cake for the same reason. He didn’t like dirty fingers. By his third birthday he was over that and dove right in.
Happy Birthday. I remember my son’s 1st Bday oh so many years ago and I think somewhere I have a picture of him with cake all over his face. He was never afraid to get dirty and it’s continued throughout his life. Consider yourself lucky if he’s a cleany. Enjoy!

Awwww . . . happy first birthday to BJ. My littlest guy’s first birthday is in a couple weeks and I’m curious to see how he reacts to the cake too.
He wants to make it easier for his mom! A lot of times, they just make a mess anyways and hardly get any in their mouths. Happy Birthday to your handsome guy!
