Sodastream Review and Giveaway CLOSED

Our Experience:

We recently tried out the Sodastream Jet model home soda maker.  When you first get the Sodastream you have to put the carbonator into the Sodastream. It was very easy to do this. The next step is to fill your reusable bottle with tap water and refrigerate them.  Next you screw in the bottles to the machine.  The first time I didn’t read the directions and just sat my bottle in the machine without screwing it on and that was a big mistake, water went everywhere when I pushed the carbonation button.  I stopped and read the directions and screwed in the bottle.  It worked great, 3 pumps of carbonation (you should keep your dog away the carbonation sound didn’t sit well with my guy, he ran away) and you are ready to pour in your flavor.  We chose ginger ale and it was delicious.  Sodastream has over 30 different flavor including diet and caffeine free options.  They also carry sparking ice teas, an energy drink and sparkling flavored water.

Making your own sodas is fun.  We have a couple of different flavors on hand and we are never out of soda.  The home soda machine helps to keep soda cans out of the garbage and its one more step in becoming a more green family.
