Canvas Press Review and Giveaway CLOSED

When I was a kid I would tape up pictures of The New Kids on the Block and Michael Jackson all over my room.  This was the decor in my room for many years.  As I have grown older, the decor in my home has matured.  Every picture on my wall is in its own frame and it is personal to me in some way.  I love photographs, especially ones of my family.  What better way to decorate your home than with personal photographs?

Canvas Press is an online canvas print site that turns your photographs into a beautiful canvas to display on your walls.  Their canvases are available in different thicknesses, sizes, and boarder styles. You can choose to turn your photo into a gallery of canvases or keep it as one beautiful masterpiece. Canvas Press offers many optional enhancements to your photo image. Here is more about the enhancements taken from Canvas Press’ website:

Convert to B&W or Sepia: We will adjust all aspects of the image to make sure to get the best exposure and contrast when converting the image to black & white or an antique sepia tone.

Basic or Advanced Retouching: Select Basic Retouching if you just want a few small areas touched up like facial retouching, color-cast adjustments, and red-eye or date stamp removal. Advanced Retouching is required for images that need extensive work to repair to their original likeness, or for situations where you would like the background changed or other major adjustments.

OilWorks True or Master Artist: Our artist will digitally paint your photograph to give it the look and feel of an oil painting. True Artist paintings stay true to the original photograph while enhancing the smooth, brush-stroked look of a painting. Master Artist paintings are a new masterpiece inspired by your original photograph and finished with an embellishing gel for a real 3D look and feel.

Here are some examples of their canvases:

We had the opportunity to order our own canvas for a review.  I have to tell you how easy the ordering process is.  You simply go to their website and click on order canvas and follow the simple directions.  It was super quick and easy.  Our canvas shipped quickly and we had it in a couple of days after ordering. For our canvas we decided to take a photo that my brother in-law took of my husband’s and BJ’s hands when he was born.  We took this photo…

…and turned it into this:

We absolutely love it. The picture quality is fantastic, and the photo looks amazing on the canvas. I look at it everyday and think about that special day almost one year ago when our little man was born.  Currently we have it hanging in our dinning room for everyone to see.  Do you have a favorite photo?  What are you waiting for? I am happy to know the inks that is use are archival quality and through tests have been estimated to last over 75 years before showing any signs of fading or discoloring. All of their canvases are also protected with an additional coating to give them even more longevity and durability.
