My son has always been an “easy” baby. He hardly cries, he has slept through the night since 3 months, he will eat anything, and he is generally in a good mood most of the time. After hearing other mom’s stories I realize that we are very lucky. Here I was just loving life thinking this mom stuff isn’t that hard when BJ got his first cold. BJ’s “easy” baby title went out the door! A cold is hard to manage even for adults so I can’t blame BJ for being so miserable. The main problem we had was that BJ would scream anytime we tried to clear his nose of boogers. One product that helped ease this process was Boogie Wipes.
Created by two moms looking for a better way to sooth their kid’s runny noses, Boogie Wipes are moist wipes made with saline designed to dissolve mucus (boogies). They are perfect for anyone suffering from colds or allergies. What makes them special is that you no longer have to take a dry tissue to your child’s nose. While it is the Christmas season I really don’t want my child to look like Rudolph, so this is a great product to help sooth BJ’s stuffy nose. I wish I could promise that your 7 month old won’t scream when you use Boogie Wipes, but they are not miracle wipes. While BJ still despised having his mom get his boogers out of his nose, I could relax in knowing that I was being as gentle as I possibly could. I used them recently on myself and loved their fresh scent, it was very soothing. Boogie Wipes come in three different fragrances: Fresh Scent, Great Grape Scent, and Magic Menthol Scent. Each large pack of Boogie Wipes contain 30 wipes. They also come in convienent individually wrapped packages of 10 for on the go boogie emergencies.

I love that the wipes are paraben free!
During the cold/flu season we use our humidifier a LOT. I find that not only does the added humidity soothe sore noses but the white noise is also soothing.
Boogie Wipes has found the smell of sweet success selling in 30,000 retail stores nationwide.

I learned the Boogie Wipes moisturize with Vitamin E, Aloe and Chamomile.
I try to give my little one baths with eucalyptus and menthol oils to help loosen congestion. I also wipe with the softest lukewarm cloth I can but she still gets a red, raw nose.

I love how the wipes come in different scents.
When my son gets sick, I sit with him in the bathroom with the hot water running very hot. The steam helps him feel better. Our Bathroom is sooo small that it only takes a minute to get steamy!!!!

We use a humidifier in a room, a chest balm with eucalyptus, kalanchoe leaf juice for stuffy nose and warm drinks (like milk and tea).
We sit in the bathroom with the shower on super hot until the room is full of steam.
I learned that they are alcohol free:)
We use a humidifier in the winter and my son also takes extra vitamin c during this time of year.
