It is a whole new adventure now that my little guy has been eating solids for the past couple of months. The bibs are no longer just droll, but messy foods . I have been experimenting with different kinds of bibs trying to find one that will work for both BJ and I.
For review, Burpie Bundles sent us 2 bibs to try out. I love the fact that these bibs are handmade bibs from Baby Bundles Etsy site. I love handmade items. My mother used to make bibs for baby showers when I was a child, and there is just something so personal about them.
We received a Curious George bib and a guitar themed bib for BJ to try. These bibs are well made. They have a plastic material covering the cute designer fabric. The first time we used the bibs we hadn’t washed them yet. The plastic fabric was very slick and the food slid down into the bib’s pocket at the bottom. I actually preferred the bib after I washed them once, the vinyl was not as slick and cleanup was extremely easy. I just used a Clorox wipe to wipe up the bib. Even though you are supposed to hand wash the bibs, I threw the bib in the wash machine and it came out just fine. It fastens around the next with Velcro and it covered BJ completely.
Please check out Burpie Bundle’s Etsy shop to find handmade toys, bibs, nursing covers, diaper wipe covers, and much more. They can also personalize your product with a monogram or your child’s name.
Burpie Bundles are offering one AMI reader a bib of their choice.

My little guy got bananas as his first food and to this day still won’t eat plain bananas!
The Dot Lagoon Bib!
My husband is a big John Deere fan so I think I need to vote for that one. We are the grandparents of twin boys. They just had their first birthday and let me tell you we could have certainly used these bibs for the youngest twin on that day! He loved the cake, the feel of the frosting in his hands – he even did some finger painting with the frosting!
I’m sure I’ll be back again to look thru the bibs!
These are just so cute!!! I love finding new places!
I like this one the best

My baby’s first foods were organic sweet potatoes, avacadoes, and bananas. I read “Super Baby Food” by Ruth Yaron and totally followed her feeding schedule and made all of my baby’s food from scratch. I did it with a friend and we had sooo much fun! It was overwhelming at first but became sooo easy and soooo much cheaper and healthier than store bought canned baby food. Now my 19 month daughter LOVES kale, spinach, brocoli, tomatoes, brussell sprouts, asarapus, ALL fruits, goat cheese and goat yogurt! She never got sick or had a runny nose her entire first year of life! I contribute it totally to the Super Baby Food diet that really helped build a strong immune system. She drinks fresh organic juiced kale, dandylion greens, orange, apple, and carrots every day and loves it. I highly recommend this book as a wonderful mom resource!
I’d choose the DROOLER BIB Personalized Formal White Bib.
My daughter first solid food was mashed potato. At first she didn’t like it, eventually she did.

I love the frogs burbie bundle bib, its adorable. My third born and fourth born both tried potatoes as a first food. There is a reason they are called mashed potatoes, more like smashed potatoe hair and smashed potatoe up the nose, you get the picture!
