It is a whole new adventure now that my little guy has been eating solids for the past couple of months. The bibs are no longer just droll, but messy foods . I have been experimenting with different kinds of bibs trying to find one that will work for both BJ and I.
For review, Burpie Bundles sent us 2 bibs to try out. I love the fact that these bibs are handmade bibs from Baby Bundles Etsy site. I love handmade items. My mother used to make bibs for baby showers when I was a child, and there is just something so personal about them.
We received a Curious George bib and a guitar themed bib for BJ to try. These bibs are well made. They have a plastic material covering the cute designer fabric. The first time we used the bibs we hadn’t washed them yet. The plastic fabric was very slick and the food slid down into the bib’s pocket at the bottom. I actually preferred the bib after I washed them once, the vinyl was not as slick and cleanup was extremely easy. I just used a Clorox wipe to wipe up the bib. Even though you are supposed to hand wash the bibs, I threw the bib in the wash machine and it came out just fine. It fastens around the next with Velcro and it covered BJ completely.
Please check out Burpie Bundle’s Etsy shop to find handmade toys, bibs, nursing covers, diaper wipe covers, and much more. They can also personalize your product with a monogram or your child’s name.
Burpie Bundles are offering one AMI reader a bib of their choice.

My child was hilarious when we first fed her. She’d do raspberries with her tongue between every spoonful. Despite the noise she seemed to love eating.

My older son first tried banana. He wasn’t so sure the first time around but loved it thereafter.
My younger son had avocado first and it’s been near and dear to his heart ever since.

Sock Monkey tile yeahhhhhhhh
I love the TODDLER BIB Amy Schimler Creatures and Critters Earth Funky Turtle Wipeable Plastic Coated Bib. The first food (besides cereal) we fed our daughter was avocado and she was really unsure of it. I made sure to get her used to all the vegetables before I introduced fruit, since it’s only natural to prefer sweets. Now she’s a great (and messy) eater and we’re going to be having another one in a few months!! Thanks for the chance!
TODDLER BIB Michael Miller’s Disco Dots in Sorbet Wipeable Plastic Coated Bib is what I would choose, but ALL of them are great looking!!!
Her 1st solid food was green beans and she loved them… we actually haven’t found much she doesn’t like since. She is SUCH a messy eater that we pretty much have to strip her down- she has stained all her bibs. This one sounds AWESOME! I’m keeping my fingers crossed!!!!
I ADORE the Groovy Guitar wipeable bib and would definitely pick that for my son who loves music!
I like the TODDLER BIB Sweetheart Dots and Circles Pink Wipeable Plastic Coated Bib…
